PURPOSE:To obtain a voice of high quality by representing a driving sound source signal with a semicyclic pulse train whose fluctuations of pitch cycle are limited to a certain extent and determining parameters so that the difference between a synthesized voice waveform and a phase equalized input voice waveform becomes minimum. CONSTITUTION:A phase equalizing analysis part 4 calculates the coefficient of a phase equalizing filter which shifts the phase characteristics of a voice to zero and the reference point of time of the phase equalization and inputs a voice signal to the phase equalizing filter 5 which is controlled with the filter coefficient to find a phase equalized voice signal. Then a sound source parameter analysis part 30 represents the sound source signal with the semicyclic pulse train after the extent of fluctuations of the sound source pitch cycle is limited and determines parameters constituting the sound source signal so that the difference between the phase equalized voice waveform of the input voice and the synthesized voice waveform becomes minimum, thereby driving a linear filter which has voice spectrum envelope characteristics with the sound source signal. Consequently, a voice of high quality can be obtained. |
