SOLUTION: This message device is provided with a detecting electrode 5 arranged inside a flowerpot 1, speech reproducing means 34, 35, 36, recording means 31, 32, and a recorded state notifying means 30 for notifying a recorded state when the recording means has done recording, and when a plant 2 planted in the flowerpot and the surrounding of the plant are used as a detection area R, and variation in static capacitance caused by the existence of something detected in the detection area, the speech reproducing means reproduces the speech recorded in the recording means. |
