PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work efficiency and discharge sediment to a designated position by locking a locking member in a pair of opposite sides installed at a designated height on the ground, and oscillating the container around the support points to discharge sediment. SOLUTION: Excavated sediment 1a is put in a sediment discharge container 2, lifted by a crane as a lifting means and continuously two locking members 3 of four locking member 3 provided on the outer surface of the sediment discharging container 2 are locked in a turning over body 4 disposed in a sediment discharge part in the state of suspending the sediment discharging container 2. Secondly, a wire suspended from the crane is gradually lowered to tumble the sediment discharging container 2 around the turning over body 4 as a fulcrum while the locking members 3 is locked in the turning-over body 4, thereby discharging sediment 1a. Thus, the tumbling work for the sediment discharging container 2 is simplified and the body 4 are installed in a desired place for discharging the sediment 1a, whereby the sediment 1a can be discharged to the desired place.
