PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover a dissolved solid portion in a filtrate, to improve bleaching properties at a bleaching stage and to decrease an amount of a chemical added without increasing a solid portion by its adhesion in a pulp washed in a washing stage by exhibiting a washing function in a washing stage in a bleaching treatment stage of a pulp separately supplied to a bleaching line of an oxygen stage, or the like. SOLUTION: In a counter-current multistage washing/bleaching process of pulp disposing a nonbleaching line and a bleaching line of pulp of an oxygen stage, or the like, side by side, the process is characterized in that a washing filtrate from the washing stage of the nonbleaching line is joined to and mixed with a washing filtrate supplied from rear parts of a washing stage to a washing stage before separation into the bleaching line and the nonbleaching line and a washing stage of a front part of a bleaching stage of the bleaching line.
