PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an image forming device from malfunctioning and also reduce the size of the device in the image forming device which performs the primary transfer of a toner image formed on an image carrier onto an intermediate transfer belt, and then performs the secondary transfer and fixing simultaneously by pressing the toner image on a recording medium. SOLUTION: The intermediate transfer belt 20 is hung with tension over a driving roll 22, two driven rolls 23, 24, and a transfer roll 30, and the outer peripheral surface is abutted on an image carrier 10. On the upstream side of the secondary transfer part where the transfer roll 30 and a pressurizing roll 31 opposes each other, an electromagnetic inductive coil 50 opposing the inside of an intermediate transfer belt, a power source unit 46, and an output control part 47 are arranged, and the power source unit 46 and the output control part 47 are arranged so as to enclose the space behind the electromagnetic coil 50. Then, a cooling fan 48 is arranged for ventilating this space. Thus, a harness 45 from the power source unit 46 to the electromagnetic coil 50 can be shortened and a heat generation part can be effectively cooled.
