OXIDIZED MANNAN-T/TN CONJUGATE AND CANCER VACCINE COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE SAME TO PREVENT INITIAL CANCER PRODUCTION AS WELL AS CANCER RECURRENCE

PURPOSE: An oxidized mannan-T/Tn conjugate and a cancer vaccine composition comprising the same conjugate are provided. The cancer vaccine composition induces humoral immunity and cell-mediated immunity, so that initial cancer production as well as cancer recurrence can be prevented, and autoimmunity problem can be resolved. CONSTITUTION: The oxidized mannan-T/Tn conjugate is prepared by connecting oxidized mannan with a T/Tn glycoprotein antigen. The cancer vaccine composition comprises the oxidized mannan-T/Tn conjugate and pharmaceutically acceptable carriers, wherein the cancer vaccine composition induces cell-mediated immunity; the cancer vaccine composition further comprises immunity adjuvant such as Freund's adjuvant; and the weight ratio of the oxidized mannan-T/Tn conjugate to immunity adjuvant is 2:3 to 3:2.
