Technique designed to give decorative effects without relying on the use of photographic negatives as the design source. The paper is folded geometrically, exposed to daylight, and on developing will be covered with a design. By variation in the position and number of folds, and modification of light source, a single shadow can be made to give a wide range of patterns. The paper is covered on the reverse side with an adhesive that does not react in the photographic chemical developing agent.
