The two end pieces are fastened down solidly and the lower support edge is supported by supports. The machine is fitted with hydraulic plungers which press precisely onto the supports of the lower support edge thereby firmly clamping the workpiece. The two end pieces are equipped with guiding ledges for ball bearings ensuring absolute vertical pressure.
