PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To profitably produce the subject feed used as the tool at a low cost by compounding processed starch water and one or more kinds of glycerol, propylene glycol, starch, syrup, and a reduced sugar. SOLUTION: This feed also used as the toy for pet animals contains processed starch (preferably starch in an alpha state or starch in a beta state), water, and one or more kinds of glycerol, propylene glycol, starch syrup and a reduced sugar as main components. The processed starch, the water and one or more kinds of the glycerol, the propylene glycol, the starch syrup and the reduced sugar are compounded in amounts of about 3-70 wt.%, about 3-30 wt.% and about 3-30 wt.%, respectively. The components may be mixed by the use of any machine by any method, when homogeneously mixed by the use of a kneader, a mixer, etc. An injection molding machine is preferably used for producing the feed used as the toy. |
