PURPOSE:To prevent printing troubles such as shock streak, printing unevenness, etc. from occurring by a method wherein an ink main roller is intermittently rotated with a driving motor, i.e. a driving source other than a gear train to be driven with a line shaft, and a doctor roller is swung or rotated. CONSTITUTION:An ink roller driving device of a printer intermittently rotates an ink main roller 50, swings or rotates a doctor roller 31, and reciprocates ink reciprocating rollers 7, 9, 14 with a driving motor 31, i.e. a driving source other than a gear train to be driven with a line shaft 1. Then, motions with those ink main motor 50, doctor roller 51, and ink reciprocating rollers 7, 9, 14 are hardly influenced from variation in rotation or the like to be generated in the gear train, and they move smoothly. Further, variable torque and shock to be generated from those rollers are never transmitted to the gear train, and printing troubles such as shock streak, printing unevenness, etc. are not generated. |
