PURPOSE: To provide a composition which is highly flowable and capable of giving an even continuous layer and can be directly molded into a liquid- absorbing film or sheet without conducting a secondary processing unlike conventional liquid-absorbing polymers. CONSTITUTION: This composition is characterized by comprising a cross-linking agent (ingredient A), a hydrophilic polymer (ingredient B) having functional groups which undergo a cross-linking reaction with the ingredient A, water (ingredient C), a water-soluble organic solvent (ingredient D), and a plasticizer (ingredient E).
