The duct has aquare hollow section of which the roof (2) comprises an edge hung pivoting clip-fastened lid. The opposite top longitudinal edges of the duct may provide a segmented circular groove and an external hook formation (3) respectively. The groove subtends some 270 deg. of arc and locates a round section head (2') on the corresp. edge of the cover, thus forming the hinge. A 'U' section downturn (2") of the opposite cover edge clips over the hook (3) to secure the cover at closure.
