PURPOSE:To improve the convenience of reception information by allowing the reception side to send destination information prior to the reception, allowing the transmission side to convert the sender information into picture information together with the destination information and sending the picture information in addition to the picture information of the original so as to record the both information onto recording paper of the picture information. CONSTITUTION:A facsimile equipment 1 of the reception side combines destination information to a control signal in the facsimile communication. In receiving the control signal, a sender facsimile equipment 1 demodulates the signal and sends the result as a binary data to a control section 2, where destination information is extracted and stored in a destination information storage section 12. In entering the communication of the picture information, a transmission side facsimile equipment 1 reads sender information and destination information together with TTI information, uses a character generator 10 to send the information to a data compression/ recovery section 5, a modulation/demodulation section 4 modulates the picture information and sends it to an external line via a network control section 3. The picture information stored in a buffer section 6 of the reception side facsimile equipment 1 is recorded onto recording paper through a picture output section 8 by the control section 2.
