PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a venting device easily installable by a simple structure, enabling a reduction in material cost and working cost, having sufficient ventilation performance and rain/snow prevention function, and usable not only for ventilating an attic space but also as the exhaust tower of an indoor ventilation system. SOLUTION: This venting device comprises a body cover 1, a support plate 2 fitted to the inside of the body cover 1 and supporting the body cover 1, and a throating 13 disposed between an end face closing plate 3 closing both end faces of the body cover 1 and the support plate 2 while holding a ventilation clearance. The body cover 1 comprises a sloped surface having an outer ventilation surface 6 formed of a ventilation port group. The support plate 2 comprises an inner ventilation surface 10 formed of a small hole group smaller than the ventilation ports of the outer ventilation surface 6, and the inner ventilation surface 10 is disposed apart a proper distance from the outer ventilation surface 6.
