PURPOSE:To provide a copying device in which a sufficient secrecy holding capability can be provided, and the extraction or copy of information can be easily attained as necessary. CONSTITUTION:At the time of copying, an IC card 81 is inserted, and the copy guide key of an inputting device 42 is turned on, so that picture data housed in a page memory 62 can be divided into plural areas based on the rearrangement procedure of the IC card 81, and stored in a new recording area while the arrangement of each area is changed. Then, the picture whose content can not be identified is copied based on the picture data whose arrangement is changed. On the other hand, at the time of restoring the picture copied based on the data whose arrangement is changed into an original state, the IC card 81 is inserted, and the restoration copy key of the inputting device 42 is turned on, so that the picture data housed in the page memory 62 can be restored based on a restoration procedure corresponding to the rearrangement procedure, the restored picture can be copied, and the original picture can be reproduced. |
