PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data storage system for a nonvolatile recording medium, allowing an atomic transaction, wherein each user is not affected by data processing. SOLUTION: Data having atomicity are stored in a block on a hard disk. The block includes: a decision block set P1 present only on the hard disk; a next generation decision block set C1 converted into a decision block set at prescribed timing; and an atomic block set S3 created in each user based on the decision block set C1. The user A performs a change or the like of desired data to S3, integrates a set of the blocks storing the data with a decision block set C2 from an atomic block set S4 and stores it on the hard disk as a decision block set P3, when ending the data processing.
