The invention relates to a band clamp comprising a rolled-up metal band (10) and a through-hoop (12) held in place at the first end of the band. On the outer side, the hoop forms a passage (13) into which the second end of the band (10B) is inserted. The hoop includes an inner part (14) that is disposed against the inner surface of the first end of the band. The inner part comprises a transverse wedging edge (14A) that cooperates with a transverse wedging edge (16A) at the first end of the band that defines a wedging recess (16). The second end (10B) of the band has a transverse retaining edge (11) that is received in the wedging recess (16) and abuts against a retaining edge (17A) of the recess. |
