<p>Herbicidal pyrido 1,2-a -s-triazine-diones Title cpds. of formula (I) (where R1 is H, halogen, NO2, 1-5 C alkyl, lower alkoxy or haloalkyl, R2 is aliphatic hydrocarbyl, alkoxyalkyl or haloalkyl and R3 is H, halogen, NO2, 1-5 C alkyl, lower alkoxy or haloalkyl), useful as total and selective herbicides, are prepd. by reacting a cpd. (II) with COCl2 or an ester (pref. the ethylester) of chloroformic acid.</p> |
