Take down system - non rotating system for circular knitters

A take down mechanism for circular knitting machines with round stationary pads in carriers inside the cylinder. These are fastened to a plate under the dial and are tensioned vertically by springs under this plate. As the cylinder rotates, the carriers move around a dual stationary cam track. The cams move the pad back from the fabric and lift it up and releases it against the fabric and the smooth metal inserts on the cylinder wall. This happens to every other carrier so that an even take up is achieved.
