<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the contamination of an insulator with dust in an insulator chamber by supplying the clean air obtained by the indirect heat exchange with a high-temp. waste sintering gas at the second half of a sintering equipment to the insulator chamber set above the main body of an electrostatic precipitator. CONSTITUTION:An indirect heat exchanger 12 is provided to a main exhaust pipe 3 at the second half of a sintering equipment in which a waste sintering gas is at 200-400 deg.C, and a pipeline 10 with one end connected to the heat exchanger 12 is connected to the insulator chamber 8 of an electrostatic precipitator 4. Clean air sucked from an air intake 10' by a blower 11 is passed through the heat exchanger 12, preheated to 130-200 deg.C by the indirect heat exchange with the waste gas (at about 200-400 deg.C) and introduced into the insulator chamber 8. The clean air introduced into the chamber 8 is passed downward over an insulator 9 into a casing 7 and exhausted inside the insulator 9, and the deposition of dust is prevented. Since the clean air supplied to the chamber 8 has a temp. of 130-200 deg.C, the precipitator 4 is not cooled, and its dew condensation is obviated.</p> |
