PURPOSE:To obtain a coating composition which can give a coating film improved in staining resistance and hardness without detriment to its flexibility by mixing a specified silicone-modified amino resin with a polyester resin or an acryl resin. CONSTITUTION:100 pts. wt. amino resin desirably having a methylol group is reacted with 0.1-100 pts. wt. silicone resin having an alkoxy group at 60-150 deg.C in the presence of a catalyst in an organic solvent to obtain a silicone-modified amino resin. 5-100 pts. wt. obtained resin is mixed with 100 pts. wt. polyester resin or acryl resin, desirably an acrylpolyol resin of a number-average molecular weight of 10000-100000, and optionally a pigment, a filler, a catalyst, additives, etc. |
