PURPOSE:To provide an on-vehicle navigation device of a simple constitution which can easily guide a route from its starting point through its destination by displaying mainly the information on the roads and the intersections. CONSTITUTION:A ROM card 4 stores the information on the intersections and the roads, and an input device 3 supplies the data on the starting point and the destination of a vehicle. An information processing part 1 calculates a route including its starting point through its destination based on the input data on the starting point and the destination of the vehicle. The distance traveled from the starting point of the vehicle is calculated by the speed signal received from a speed sensor 2 while the vehicle is traveling along the route. Under such conditions, the information on the intersections and roads to be traveled through and on the traveled ones are shwon on a display device 6 based on the information read out of the card 4 and the detected information on the distance traveled. |
