PURPOSE:To provide a particulate burning assisting agent adding system exhaust emission control device capable of substantially simplifying an operational amount concerning the addition of the particulate burning assisting agent while preventing the addition rate from dispersion. CONSTITUTION:Particulates and particulate burning assisting agent in exhaust gas are deposited on the surface of a filter 3. The particulates and particulate burning assisting agent react by the action of exhaust gas heat (about 250 deg.C) and catalyzer on the surface of the filter 3 to burn the particulates at a low temperature, and the filter is regenerated. Oil supply amount detecting means 7, 8 detect an oil supply amount to a fuel tank 4 and the detected oil supply amount is multiplied by a predetermined addition rate to determine an additional burning assisting agent amount so that a burning assisting agent supply means supplies the particulate burning assisting agent from a burning assisting agent tank 5 to a fuel tank 4 by the determined additional burning assisting agent amount. Thus, an operation amount concerning the addition of the particulate burning assisting agent can be substantially simplified while the dispersion of the addition rate can be prevented.
