摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air intake quantity control device for engines that improves start performance when the accelerator pedal is depressed from its idling position. SOLUTION: The air intake quantity control device for engines comprises throttle control means 10A for computing a target throttle angleθo of a throttle valve 6 on the basis of a throttle openingθ, an accelerator openingαand an idle signal D, and a throttle actuator 7 for opening and closing the throttle valve 6 so that the throttle opening coincides with the target throttle opening. The throttle control means 10A includes a means 11 for computing a first target throttle openingθo1 depending on the accelerator opening, a means 12 for computing a second target throttle openingθo2 corresponding to the idle signal D, and a means 13 for computing the target throttle openingθo by summing the first and second target throttle openingsθo1 andθo2.
