PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem of a receiving performance being lowered due to an influence of fading generated in the case of a mobile reception in an adaptive equalizing system which deals with only a fixed reception. SOLUTION: An OFDM receiver estimates a transmission line response of a receiving data signal from a pilot signal transmission line response, by using a symbol filter and a carrier filter capable of setting a passing band width, and equalizes the receiving data signal. The receiver further calculates the Doppler frequency from a moving speed of the receiver obtained from a speed acquiring means, and sets the passing band width of the symbol filter, in response to the calculated Doppler frequency. Thus, the receiver filters with least influence of a noise and improves the receiving performance.
