PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an insulator porcelain composition which can be calcined at a law temperature of <=1,000 deg.C and can be sintered with Ag or Cu and from which a sintered body having low dielectric constant and high Q value and suitable for high frequency use can be obtained. SOLUTION: The insulator porcelain composition is prepared by mixing and calcining (A) MgAl2O4 ceramic powder and (B) glass powder containing 13 to 50 wt.% silicon oxide in terms of SiO2, 8 to 60 wt.% boron oxide in terms of B2O3, <=20 wt.% aluminum oxide in terms of Al2O3 and 10 to 55 wt.% magnesium oxide in terms of MgO. |
