PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and efficient motor whose assembly is easy, with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A rotor 12 is arranged inside a tube-like stator 11. The inner peripheral edge of a sheet of electromagnetic steel plate 20 of an end bracket 16 side end of a stator core 18 is bent toward the end bracket 16 side not to interfere with the rotor 12 while extending toward a rotating shaft 13. A coil end 24 on the end bracket 16 side is so shaped as to extend inside the stator 11 along the electromagnetic steel plate 20. So the height in the axial direction of the coil end 24 is suppressed to be low, resulting in smaller dimension of a motor. The electromagnetic steel plate 20 of the end bracket 16 side end part of the stator core 18 acts as an electromagnetic shield, to reduce iron loss caused by a leaked magnetic flux of the coil end 24.
