PURPOSE:To make the shift in an axial direction hard to generate and to easily obtain strong bonding by bonding thin plates adjacent to each other in a raw plate state when a current supply heating type catalyst device is produced. CONSTITUTION:In the corrugated plate 1 and flat plate 2 wound around a center electrode 4, the parts corresponding to a center bonding region 3a and an outer peripheral bonding region 3b are raw plates 1a, 2a and a region 3c consists of plates 1b, 2b each having an insulating film formed on the surfaces thereof. At first, the corrugated plate 1 and the flat plate 2 are produced to be wound around the center electrode 4 and, thereafter, the bonding regions 3a, 3b are bonded by edge discharge processing welding. Since the flat plate 2 and corrugated plate 1 of this bonded region are raw plates, extremely high welding strength is easily obtained. |
