PURPOSE:To enhance both the performance and the life of a zinc-bromine cell by preventing the formation of voids due to remaining gas at the time of a heat press process for a current collecting electrode, increasing the mechanical strength of the current collecting electrode itself, and also enhancing its sealing performance. CONSTITUTION:A current collecting electrode 7 is integrally forme by a heat press process at a temperature under a pressure condition which are set in advance, out of a sheet shaped insulating frame member 16a, a net 20 composed of polyethylene resinous material or polypropylene resinous material, which is rested over the insulating frame member, a plurality of insulating frame members 16b laminated over the upper surface of the aforesaid net 20, and a current collecting mesh 6. As an alternate structural example of the aforesaid net, a main body of a net is composed of polypropylene, and only the portion of the net which is composed of polyethylene, is used to enclose a hole for a manifold through which electrolytic solution flows. |
