Provided are a fabric for an airbag which is light in weight and has excellent tearing strength and ability to be foldable. The fabric for an airbag of the present invention comprises: a fiber base material; a hydrophobic polymer applied to the fiber base material; and a coating layer on at least one side of the fiber base material to which the hydrophobic polymer is applied.
