The present invention relates to a damping force variable type-shock absorber comprising a housing, a first damping unit, a second damping unit, and a sealing unit. The housing includes an auxiliary chamber connected to a connection flow path passing through the interior thereof in the longitudinal direction of a piston rod reciprocally moving in a cylinder, is coupled to an end of the piston rod to be coupled to the lower part of a piston valve dividing the cylinder into a compression chamber and a tension chamber, and has an auxiliary flow path formed on the lower part thereof to be connected to the tension chamber. The first damping unit is arranged on the upper side of the auxiliary chamber to form a first bypass flow path connecting the connection flow path with the auxiliary flow path while having a zigzag-shape and allows deformation depending on flow of operation fluid in a predetermined speed section. The second damping unit is received in the auxiliary chamber to be arranged on the lower part of the first damping unit, forms a second bypass flow path connected to the first bypass flow path, and allows deformation depending on flow of the operation fluid in the predetermined speed section. The seal unit is received in the auxiliary chamber to be arranged on the lower part of the first damping unit and supports the second damping unit upward and downward. The damping force variable shock absorber achieves soft damping force by bypassing the operation fluid while allowing deformation depending on flow of the operation fluid in the predetermined speed section, thereby improving a riding feeling. |
