A cigarette with a two-stage lighting end for lighting by friction and glowing to transmit the flame to the tobacco, has a hollow cylindrical layer (16) which is open at both ends and consists of ordinary cigarette paper treated with a nitrocellulose solution. The outer layer (18) consists of a carborized combustible material, treated with a nitro-cellulose solution and arranged over the bottom layer (16). The end face has a circular ignition layer (20) consisting of known ignition material of safety matches and is treated with nitro-cellulose solution and fixed to the end of the cylindrical layer (16) and the outer layer (18). |
