<p>The electrical machine, with liquid cooled rotor, has increased heat transfer and a more even distribution of the cooling effect. The thermally conducting tube (5) is constructed from a non-magnetic metal with thermally conducting non-magnetic surfaces (11) connected to it and projecting into the rotor packet (6) axially spaced apart. The rotor packet and these heat transfer surfaces are held together by axially parallel clamping bolts. Non-magnetic metal thermal connections are located at the circumference of the tube. The rotor packet consists of different sub-packets separated by the cooling surfaces. Every second sub-packet has a heat transfer sleeve associated with it.</p> |
