The push-button switch has an elastically deformable snap-action part (2) with a switching contact (5), and has a supporting part (1) with contacts (6, 16) which can be connected to one another. The switching contact (5) and the contacts (6, 16) are located in a contact chamber (3) which is hermetically sealed from the environment. A bellows (8) is provided which deflects when the push-button (11) is operated and compensates for the pressure increase which occurs in the interior of the contact chamber (3). In the case of this push-button switch, the contacts are prevented from being adversely affected by dirt; furthermore, the air-cushion effect which is known in the case of hermetically sealed contact systems does not occur. <IMAGE>
