PURPOSE:To enable to put a patient into bathtub without having to remove him from a bed by producing a bathtub by folding one elastic sheet material like an Origami, by passing it through under the bed on which a patient lies with the sheet material being opened like a mattress, and by building it to become a box shape which is supported by a supporting member. CONSTITUTION:For bathing, one elastic sheet material 24 which is folded like an Origami to become a bathtub is passed through under the bed on which a patient lies with the sheet material being opened. Side edges and top and bottom edges of the sheet material 24 are folded upward and they are overlapped with each side area, and stuck with a pressure-adhesive tape to build a bathtub. The bathtub 24 is supported on a support frames 13 and 16 through a pair of support members 23. Hot water is poured into the bathtub 24 and a patient is put into the bathtub with being laid. To wash only the lower half of body, a pinion 20 is rotated by a drive handle 22, a support frame 16 is raised through a rack teeth 19 to raise the head part of the bathtub 24. |
