<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain prevention of danger and improvement in working efficiency by using an automatic control device for moving and positioning of a high temperature steel plate on the cooling bed. SOLUTION: On a steel plate cooling bed which is divided into four blocks, which is superposed in each block at the boundary part and which performs basic transporting operation by giving an electric command to each transporting device provided for each block for receiving, transporting on entrance side, transporting on exit side and delivering of steel plates, a steel plate transported on such cooling bed is moved from the chain transfer 9 of the receiving device 5, to a walking beam 6 on the entrance side, to a walking beam 7 on the exit side, and then to the chain transfer 10 of the delivering device 8. The chain transfer 9 of the receiving device 5 and that 10 of the delivering device 8 independently moves forwards and backwards. In addition, the walking beam 6 on the entrance side and that 7 on the exit side can be operated either independently or linked with each other; therefore, the operation is possible in six different patterns.</p> |
