PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly measure the concn. of hydrogen ions in a acid soln. of high concn. without receiving the effect of a coexisting substance in a sample soln. SOLUTION: A hydrogen ion concn. measuring apparatus has an indicator electrode 1 and a reference electrode 2. The indicator electrode 1 has a pipe 2 wherein a partition wall is formed by a hydrogen ion conductive material 3 on the leading end side immersed in a sample soln. (s) of the indicator electrode 1 and the responsive electrode 5 immersed in the standard soln. 6 having a predetermined hydrogen ion concn. filling the tube 2. The reference electrode 2 has a pipe 8 wherein liquid passages 11, 12 are provided on the leading end sides immersed in the sample soln.
