PURPOSE:To read information concerning charging in an electric automobile from a charging connector itself. CONSTITUTION:An indicating part 30 arranged in the upper face part of a connector body 22 consists of a 7-segment type two-digit number indicator 34, which is composed of light emitting diodes, a red light emitting diode 35, and a green light emitting diode 36. The red light emitting diode 35 is lit in a charging condition, while the green light emitting diode 36 is lit instead of the red light emitting diode 35 when charging is finished. In the number indicator 34, either a lapse of the time from a start of charging or residual capacity of a battery is indicated selectively.
