摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent soaring up of gas and dust by increasing the velocity of flow of suction port of a dust suction pipe and obtaining uniform and high dust collectability in respective working regions. SOLUTION: A dust collection chamber 57 exists below a work table 5 on which a work W to be subjected to thermal cutting and working is placed. A plurality of fume traps 55 which have sections constituting a polygonal shape or rhombic shape and are extended in a Y-axis direction are disposed apart suitable spacings in an X-axis direction within this dust collection chamber 57. The outer peripheral surfaces of the respective fume traps 55 are provided with many dust suction holes 65 and since one end or both ends of the respective fume traps 55 are communicated with dust collection ducts 49 disposed on one side or both sides in the Y-axis direction of the work table 5, the dust is sucked at a high velocity from the many dust suction holes 65 of the respective fume traps 55 and the uniform and high dust collectability is obtainable within the dust collection chamber 57. The dust entering the lower sides of the fume traps 55 having the sectionally polygonal or rhombic shape is sucked from the many dust suction holes 65 of the hypotenuses of the lower part of the polygonal or rhombic shape on the under surfaces of the respective fume traps 55.</p>
