Pressboard paint spraying is done on a conveyor which passes the board through a paint curtain so that the sharp leading edge of the board cuts the curtain before the board is coated or laid down on the belt. The sharp edge should be in a higher plane than that containing the lower side of the board. The edge can be formed by a strip of paper, plastics film etc forming a T-section with its flat side self-adhering to the surface.
