The invention relates to a device for applying, laminating and/or enclosing an image, comprising a housing and an applying and laminating unit which is accommodated in the housing, and an enclosing unit, wherein an entry for the applying and laminating unit and the enclosing unit are accessible from one side of the housing, and wherein the applying and laminating unit preferably comprises a feed table which adjoins the entry and is connected to a pair of coating rollers, comprising a top coating roller and a bottom coating roller, and a coating-layer cartridge for dispensing a film coating to a coating roller, and to a cartridge for this device.
