<p>The travelling erection platform is particularly for the installation of monorail hanger conveyors in roofs etc. It has a triangular steel frame with bogies on rails, and a stage swinging in a vertical plane, attached at the rear to parallelogram action swing arms. A compressed-air-operated hoist is mounted on the rear portion of the triangular frame, and from this a chain is reeved round a sprocket at the forward end of the triangular frame, one on the lower swing arm and back to an anchor-age point below the first sprocket.</p> |
