PURPOSE:To make an adjustment with ease in the condition that tension is applied to a belt, by engaging a holding frame with a fixed frame rollingly and unseparably and interposing an expanding and contracting mechanism as rolling means. CONSTITUTION:When an expanding and contracting bolt 13 is actuated in an expanding direction or contracting direction, a holding frame is forcibly rolled along a fixed frame 6 in the natural rolling direction of a belt cylindrical portion 2. As a result, a perfect rolling adjustment for balancing the tension of a belt can be effected easily and promptly even if that tension is applied to the belt.
