PURPOSE:To provide a new antithrombosis medical material and a method for imparting an antithrombosis property. CONSTITUTION:The blood-contacting surface of a blood-contacting medical material is coated in the presence of glycerin with a special silicon-containing compound which is activated by water and forms a cross-linked polysiloxane through condensation, and the blood-contacting medical material having the blood-contacting surface coated with the silicon-containing compound is subjected to condensation to form an antithrombosis surface. |
