NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula having 156-159 deg.C melting point (decomposition). USE:A liver enhancing gent. PREPARATION:For example, a mycelium of Fomes japonicus cultivated in ROux flask is filtered by nylon mesh and a medium is removed to give the mycelium. The mycelium is blended with methanol, ground by Maring blender and immersed in methanol at room temperature for a week. The ground mecelium is filtered by suction, the residue is further extracted with methanol again for a week, the residue is blended with the filtrate and methanol is distilled away. The residue is mixed with water, extracted with CHCl3, dried with anhydrous Na2SO4 and the solvent is distilled away to give a CHCl3 extract. then, the CHCl3 extract is subjected to silica gel chromatography using an eluting solvent of benzene-ethyl acetate type, separated into fraction 1 - fraction 9, the fraction 3 is subjected to HPLC using benzene containing ethyl acetate, separated and purified and recrystallization from methanol is repeated to give a compound shown by the formula. |
