PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overlook no request for charging a secondary battery of a slave device. SOLUTION: The emergency information system comprises a master device A1, which is connected to a center device at a specific emergency notification destination via telephone line the slave device B1 which can be placed in portable operation by using the secondary battery B as its power source, and a charging base for charging the secondary battery of the slave device B1. The slave device B1 is provided with a battery remaining quantity detection part B172 which detects whether the value, indicating the remaining charging quantity of the secondary battery B, decreases below a specific threshold; a charging state detection part B171 which detects whether the slave device B1 is connected to the charging base, etc.,; and a control part B10 performs execution control for giving notice requesting the charging of the secondary battery B via a voice signal processing part B14 and an electro-acoustic transducing part B25, when a detection result indicating that the slave device B1 is not connected to the charging base is obtained through the charging state detection part B171 or when a detection result indicating that the value that remaining charging quantity shows decreases below the threshold is obtained through the battery remaining quantity detection part B172. |
