PURPOSE: A method for imposing charge on a collect call is provided to apply the collect call to a call for an incoming signal during absence, and to lighten a load for a call-back service of a cellular phone user using a fixed sum system. Also, the method is automatically handled only by adding a simple control code. CONSTITUTION: A control code representing a telephone number of a receiving party and call-back is pressed to generate a service request signal(S1). An originating office exchange receiving the service request signal stores corresponding call-back request information in a predetermined storage unit(S2). Information on a telephone number of an originating party including call-back information is transmitted to a phone of the receiving party from the originating office exchange(S3). A call-back reply signal is generated in compliance with a call attempt responsive to the call-back of the receiving party(S4). The originating office exchange receiving the call-back reply signal compares the call-back replay signal with the call-back request information stored in the storage unit to check the validity of the call-back reply signal(S5,S6). And if the call-back reply signal is normal, a speech path is formed and a charge for a call is imposed to the first service requesting party(S7).
