摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric sensor and a feed water control device possessed of versatility of drive voltage range. SOLUTION: The photoelectric sensor 7 comprises a light-projecting part 10, having a light-projecting element for projecting the light to an object body of a monitoring area; a photoelectric conversion part 30 in which the output of a light-receiving element that receives the reflected light from the object body is converted into a voltage; a light-receiving part 11, having an integrator 33 which integrates the output; and a control part 13 for detecting the object body, based on the output from the light-receiving part 11. The integrator 33 generates an output, by integrating the output from the photoelectric conversion part 30 of a pulsed light at a predetermined period T. The control part 13 has a pulsed light control means 15 for projecting the pulsed light by controlling the light-projecting part 10, when the pulsed light is projected; a light-receiving output measuring means 41 which measures the extent of the output of the light-receiving part 11; and a pulsed light set means 40 for setting the pulse width of the pulsed light and the delay time of the pulsed light that makes the integrated output become a maximum, with respect to this pulse width by a pulsed light set means 40 so that they fall within the predetermined range for the measured result by the light-receiving output measuring means 41, when projection of the pulsed light is carried out.
