PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scatter prevention tool for blasting, and a blasting method superior in scatter prevention of flying rocks, protection material, or the like due to blasting work, and capable of improving safety and work efficiency. SOLUTION: A connected iron plate part 2 connecting plural iron plates 2a in layers by a connection chain 3 with intervals in between in an iron plate plane vertical direction is suspended by hooking a suspension hook 11 of a crane to a hoisting accessory 4b of a hook part 4 connected to the iron plate 2a of an upper end of the connected iron plate part 2, the iron plate 2a of a lower end is placed on a base rock 10 to be blasted, the connected iron plates 2a are sequentially slid in a lateral direction, and the vertically connected iron plates 2a are placed in a state with one parts overlapping to cover a hole opening part 9a of an explosive loading hole 9 and its periphery.
