PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable type secondary battery which can mitigate generation of cracks at an external electrode even when external force is applied to the external electrode and prevent detachment of the external electrode even when terrible cracks are generated.SOLUTION: The cable type secondary battery comprises: an internal electrode; a separation layer formed to surround an external surface of the internal electrode to prevent a short circuit of electrodes; and a sheet type external electrode wound spirally around the separation layer or the internal electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
